About

I am a ceramicist living and working on the East Coast of Ireland. I began my artistic training at NCAD where I studied in Fine art Media, graduating in 2011 with a BA Honours Degree.

My early training in photography and film at NCAD developed my appreciation for form, light and line, but preferring a more tactile approach to making, I started to look to other materials.

I began working with clay in 2017 and in 2018 was accepted onto DCCI’s prestigious Ceramics Skills and Design Course in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny. This course, dedicated to teaching its students the skills and knowledge necessary to work as a studio potter, has given me the opportunity to develop my skills and refine my approach to making.

I now create beautiful, minimal porcelain tableware from my small studio along the coast of Co. Meath. My designs are inspired by the Irish coastline and often incorporate the use of locally sourced materials.

Quiet and considered, my unique tableware suits both the modern and traditional Irish kitchen.
