Seascape Collection

Using watercolour studies as a starting point the Seascape collection captures the colours and mood of the Irish coastline.

Quick, gestural brush strokes and a sea-inspired colour palette are applied to the surfaces of the pieces expressing the character of the Irish Coast. A splash of a bright orange here and there provides visual contrast and is a nod to the buoys often seen floating out at sea.

Local materials, collected along the shoreline are also added to the surface decoration giving the pieces a direct, material connection to their environment. Each piece is porcelain, hand-decorated by me and is completely one of a kind.
